Find Your Routine
Skincare doesn't need to be complicated. Below is how to layer your Emily Luise Routine and what each step is doing. Remember to always listen to your skin, keep what works, and skip what you don't need.
Extra: Vitamin C and Retinol would go after Toner wipes and before Face Mist. General rule of thumb is to layer thinnest to thickest. Personally I would prefer you build up your barrier BEFORE throwing a heap of actives at your skin, you WILL get there, I did, you will too. xo
01 Cleanse
Start with a cleanse Slate
Gently cleanse away the day without leaving your skin feeling stripped. add water to activate, massage over damp skin, then rinse. Use as second step in a 2 step cleansing routine or on it's own in a single cleansing routine.
AM and/or PM
02 PREPARE
Prepare your skin for what comes next
Sweep gently over clean skin to remove any lingering residue and refresh the skin before your next steps. Particularly handy when your skin is feeling congested and great to prepare the skin for actives. Extra tip: great as a single refresh whilst traveling.
PM
03 HYDRATE
Add a little hydration
Mist generously over the face to add a lightweight hydration and leave skin slightly damp, ready for your serum. Extra Tip: Can be used on it's own throughout the day, smells amazing.
AM and PM
04 TREAT
Targeted hydration & barrier support
Apply to slightly damp skin to deliver a concentrated boost of hydration while niacinamide helps support the skin barrier and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone.
AM and PM
05 SEAL
Seal it all in
Finish with a few drops of face oil, gently pressing into the skin as a final step of your evening routine to add moisture. This can be done following your favourite moisturiser if you are on the dryer side.
PM
Anytime - Nourish
Don't forget your lips
Smooth over lips whenever they need a little extra love. Use throughout the day or apply a generous layer before bed for soft, nourished lips.
Extra tip: Great for eyelid eczema
